How we handle an estate cleanout
- Nothing goes until you say so. We set aside photos, paperwork and anything that looks like it might matter. We check with you before it leaves the house.
- Full or partial. Some families have already taken what they want and need the rest cleared. Others need help from the first room to the last. Either way works.
- Working to your timeline. Executors often have a closing date or a listing deadline. Tell us the date and we’ll tell you honestly if we can meet it. If an estate sale company is involved, we usually come in after they finish.
- Inside and out. Furniture, appliances, clothing and linens, kitchenware, books, garage and shed contents, yard tools and whatever else is left.
- Donate, recycle, then dispose. Items in good shape go to local nonprofits whenever possible. Metal goes to scrap, and only what’s left goes to the landfill.

How much does an estate cleanout cost?
Every job is quoted on its own. We need to see what you have before we can give you a real number. A few rooms and a full house with an attic, basement and garage are priced very differently. The walkthrough and quote are free.
What happens to the things we want to keep?
We set them aside as we go, label boxes if you ask, and leave them where you want them. Nothing is thrown out until you say so.
Do you work with estate sale companies?
Yes. If an estate sale is planned, we usually come in after the sale company has finished and clear whatever is left.
